About Robin Lang
Robin Lang is a first generation American whose family hails from the Republic of Panama in Central America. She is a native New Yorker who transplanted to Jacksonville almost 30 years ago and loves to be active in the North Florida community.
Robin served as the District Business Mail Entry Manager at the United States Postal Service for the Gulf Atlantic. She was responsible for over 266 Commercial Mail Entry Units, 14 million dollar sites, and revenue exceeding $3.5 million. She recently retired after an illustrious career of 34 years advancing through positions of increased responsibility.
Robin received a Bachelor of Science Degree at Jacksonville University and a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing at Strayer University. She holds a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification and is a State County Mediator for the Supreme Court of Florida.
Robin is married to Benjamin (who she adores) and together they have raised 5 children. Her family is a top priority and her favorite thing to do is hang out with them. Her other activities include fishing, reading, crafting, and hiking. She also enjoys traveling and living her best life every day.
Robin has always loved the arts and over the past 15 years she has actively volunteered her time with the Jacksonville Symphony Youth Orchestra, Douglas Anderson School of the Arts Orchestra Program, Strings on the River, Instruments for Change, and also worked on the Duval County Arts Advisory Board to name a few. She continues to explore and appreciate different genres of music, art, and culture. She believes in the mission of Beaches Fine Arts Series and is extremely honored to be participating by dancing and raising funds in the 2022 First Coast Dancing with the Stars! Beaches Fine Arts Series is an amazing asset to our community. While BFAS adds to our quality of life by exposing First Coast residents to free quality musical performances and art, she is extremely passionate about them providing free musical education opportunities for area students! She plans to continue to support BFAS for years to come.
