Matt Christ and his wife began dancing at the Ballroom Dance Academy as a date night cultural enrichment night out. They both work in upper management in very demanding industries. Dancing has been an escape from the tedious organization of their daily management tasks.

Matt started in this series as a guest generally supporting his wife, Jennifer, who was entering the competition with their instructor Charles Norris. However, after discovering the need for more male participants Matt jumped in like a hero to join the competition. He will be dancing with his own instructor’s wife who also teaches at the Ballroom Dance Academy and can’t wait to take them on! Now it’s spouse against spouse and the competition couldn’t be more fun.

Matt is determined to do his best and make his studio proud. He wishes all the competitors all the luck in the world…because they will need it.
