Jennifer was born and raised in a small town and enjoyed the fresh country air as a child, venturing into the woods, playing with her two sisters, and learning to water-ski. She was constantly competing in a variety of sports including swimming, baseball, softball, soccer, basketball, and cross country and has many accolades in each of these sports that show her competitive nature and perseverance to succeed.

After surpassing high school requirements and graduating as Salutatorian, Jennifer went to college on several academic and softball scholarships. She graduated with honors in 2010 from the University of Central Florida and then enrolled at the University of North Florida where she earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy in 2014.

She has an undying thirst for knowledge and proficiency and continued her search for clinical expertise through the Orthopedic Residency program at the Malcom Randall VAMC in Gainesville. She earned her board certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist in 2016 and continues to work at the VA in Jacksonville. After creating a physical therapy orthopedic residency program at the Jacksonville VA, she has recently earned the promotion of Director.

Because of her passion to learn new skills and develop into unknown areas, Jennifer and her husband wanted to pursue enrichment activities and decided to try ballroom dancing. For her, it was to become more elegant and graceful, especially coming from a rough-and-tough athletic background. She has thoroughly enjoyed the challenge and fulfilment she has received thus far and is excited to see what the future holds and where this journey takes her.

Star Jennifer Cuevas Christ will be dancing with Pro Charles Norris.
